what would this setup require to get engineered?
Ute I'm looking at already has disk brake front (also need engineering?)
Has a15 putting out 110rwkw

In NSW for this setup, all they would look at is;
engine and gearbox mounts,
Minimum that it has disk front and how they are fitted.
And being an A15 its just over the size limit for a 1000 and will need a collapsable steering column.
They will also do the usual sound level test for the exhaust and might check for emission ( probly wont bother with emissions due to the age of the engine. )

didnt look at engine/g'box mounts, have to check them out. It has 120Y disks on front, again havnt looked closely. has I think n14 pulsar steering column (collapsible?)
Exhaust is fairly quiet, all the noise comes from the twin 45's up front

So it doesnt look like it'd need that much so long as the quality is up to scratch. That'd be like a $800 engineers fee right?

Oh and its also got i think 2002 VW golf headlights...

Lagwagon it was dynoed at 110rwkw when it was built, but that was some time ago, probably nowhere near that now. still enough tho, I'm sure!

My A15 bored out to 1608 with twin forties wasnt quite making 80 rwkw last time it was dynoed,I would like to see this engine that was making 110rwkw.

To me it sounds a little optimistic.

dunno if this makes a difference but the motor was in a lighter car when test was done... Owner spent $3500 on the motor, but I cant confirm anything as I havnt seen a dyno printout.

The 63a gearbox uses a hydrolic clutch.

That engine must be making in excess of 200 horsepower,
on carbs.

I think he is having a lend of you.

will the air filters need to be boxed, or is that just for paper filters?
