i think i have blown the head gasket on my a12 as the radiator is presureising before it is wven hot and is blowing bubles out of the
radiator top
so rather than mucking around with taking the head off ia am just going to put the a14 motor in maby this weekend
question number 1
how much diference can i expect from the a14 and 2
will the gx manifold clear the standard
exaughst manifold and yes i realise i will have to plate it

Dont know for sure if it will clear the manifold but I would say it would. Its just the fuel bowls that get in the way. You will notice a nice increase in power over the 1200 especially the torque.

no worrys at the moment it feals as though the a12 has bearly enough power to pull the skinn of my custard

Why dont you try and pick up a cheapy set of second hand extractors before you put her in. Definately make should the fuel bowls clear them though. Mine didnt at first and had to have some pipe mods done.
