Hi Simon

I've attached the officials' registration form for the East Coast. If any of your mates in the Datto club are interested in coming along to give us a hand, they would be very gratefully received. I need heaps more volunteers. The event runs from Wed 24 - Sat 27 August and is a closed road special stage tarmac rally, similar to Targa Tassie and Classic Adelaide. Day 1 is mostly around Sydney, with Day 2 heading over the mountains and the rest of the event being based around the Bathurst area. As officials, you would be working the time, start, flying finish and stop controls. Also manning radios and sending times etc through to Rally Base, manning road closures and Spectator control.

As officials, accommodation in Bathurst on Thurs, Fri and Sat as well as all meals are covered, free shirt, cap and patch and a guaranteed ringside seat to all the action is part of the deal. You can sign up for as many days as you want but from an organiser's point of view, the more that put their hand up for all four days, the better. A lot of people take a few days leave to see all the action.
