any good suspension specialist will have a flaring tool to do the job properly...

i got the lip of my front guards rolled and the guards flared for $50...

guards then required painting as i had minor cracks on the edge of the lip.. and plus i also had to trim a small bit from the bottom corner (in front of the wheel)

it can be done with other methods but you generally end up with filler to get the guards straight again...

good luck

heres a pic of the outcome

Ange your front end is sooo straight.

I'm very envious. I sometimes wished I'd started with anything other than a rolling shell.

Nissan had some fairly poor quality control on a lot of their parts. It's almost always better to use the same panels as were fitted when it rolled off the line.

I'm about to cut a bit from the front off my guards, I'm tired of the rubbing..damn 15x6 wheels with 185/195 tyres just don't fit on a 1200.

Awesome photo.

Chris

nah your right.... they dont fit on the front...

with the mods ive got mine down to minimal rubbing mainly on the inner (footwell) guard at full lock...

the things we do....

im on 195/50's....

had a hard time finding decent 45's that were justified for the price.... so took a gamble with the 50's and am living with a bit of rub here and there

my ute has had replacement guards and bonnet... it is pretty straight... but they always look better in a digi photo

no need to be envious

I had 20mm turned of the end of my castor bars this aided handeling and helped with the rear scraping then I simply ran pipe around the gaurd in various sizes to gain my flare

rough but good for club days

To do this i just squezzed the pipe between the gaurd and tyre and rolled the car back and forth til i had the required flar

no good if you want pannels that straight though

oh i also cut quite abit off the bottom frount corner
