Just a few simple questions.
What engine, specificly, did these shot peened rods originally come from, & what mods, [apart from shot peening,] were done to them?

Is this a 1200 block [foward distributor] or the later A12 block [rear distributor?

What engine were the pistons originally designed for.

The rods came out of an A14 and have only been shotpeened they still have std size little ends. The block is an A12 and has been bored out to 78mm (1mm oversize compared to an A14) and decked
The pistons are Mitsubishi 4G32 flat tops. I have not bought these yet but they are available for an extra $100, only catch is that two of them have been flycut for valve clearance but the other two have not been done yet. the guy with the pistons runs a machine shop and could do it for you.
