went for a drive this arvo. speed limits varied on the roads from 50-100km/h with some jumping from 90 back to 70 back to 50km/h and others jumping from 50 up to 80 to 90 to 100km/h.
the thing that really got on my nerves, aside from the wide range, was other drivers seemed oblivious to the speeds ???
best one was following a hyundai getz .... 70km zone we were doing 50km/h. 50km zone he'd leave me for dead ?? 100km zone we're doing anything from 80km to 110km/h !!!!
is it just me or do a lot of drivers these days have absolutely no idea what that big black number inside a red circle means ??? or what that pedal on the right hand side of their foot well actually does !!!

seems common these days.i went out to oran park today for a khanacross that didn't happen ,& with an 80 k speed limit, the guy ahead of me took off, while i was doing 85.the traffic behind me disappeared backwards.got to the top of a hill & it went to 60 k's for a small village.the guy ahead of me did not slow down, i slowed to 63 k's & everyone behind me caught me up & started harrassing me to speed up.got out of the village where it went back to 80 k's,& everyone behind me disappeared again.i must admit i was doing 90 k's,but they didn't even speed up.& i caught the holden crossthingy, because he (we) got caught behind a group doing 70-75 k's (slowing down for the corners).mind you, this was on a road that used to be a major highway, posted at 100 k's all the way, even for the village.

yeah I get it to...try to stick to the speed limit especially in Western Sydney where there are lots of roadworx and they have posted ammended speed limits. I still do 10 over the posted limit, but get people...especially commodore drivers harassing / abusing me. I have had alot of trouble with that lately, and Im thinking our burning my HSV anorak to complete my allegence with the Nissan Datsun product.
(ie my site name "Converted")

haha nice observation about the hsv clothes, its like driving into a housing comission area, ull always see at least one vb/h/k/l commodore, u can tell the older blokes they drive a v8 with vx or hsv wheels etc, and the young ones have a vl boost with nice paint and big wheels
