I spoke to a mate in Brisbane last night and he sent me some pictures of his Datsun 1000 coupe. Its currently undergoing a rebuild. A 'pretty tough' A14 is going under the bonnet, its also getting some Superlite wheels, shaved door handles, Nissan Silvia brakes, a re-spray and a roll cage. It should be great when its finished.
I thought I'd share these pictures for some of the KB10-ophiles on the site,
James.

Should be a great project. I see you've found another use for milk crates.

I'll hassle him for some more pics as it progresses. It will be a great little car, like its bigger brother the blue FJ20det 1600 in the background.

Andy, I think I introduced you to the owner of this car at the Datsun club dyno day a while back.. I think you even took him for a spin in your coupe??

Oh yeah the 2002 Datsun Nationals, the day the KB10 was hard pressed to make 80 rear wheel KW's on the dyno.

Man, that is some serious dedication there. That drivers door looks past its prime in the first photo, but looks MUCH better further down.

After taking a look at that crank, i'm thinking, hmmmm, it's just a few dollars more,... but thats what got me into this mess in the first place. Still,.... it's only a few dollars more,..... hmmmm.

I wish him all the success in the world as he is obviously a visionary. After all, this much work would be just wasted on an ordinary car.

Dodgeman are you saying you were intending on building a KB10 without a knife edged crank?
