hey guys, im currently in the process of rebuilding a 1200 coupe, it has recently just come out of the paint shop with a nice new coat of winter white paint, it has gone through some various body mods and is looking really sweet. the question i need the answer for is "what motor is gonna go in?" this question is always in my head, i have the original a12 and was given an a15, the dream engine is to have a nissan ca18det running in it but thanks to the new p plater laws and all those goddam engineering laws it will make it extremely difficult to pass it in nsw. various other ideas that have sparked my mind is a 12a rotary, does anybody know if it is easy to install and what is involved with engineering side of things.

Tunnel might need a bit of bashing but there is plenty of room in the engine bay for the 12a,try the search on the left as it has been done many times before.

Your engineer will probably want bigger brakes and a booster but not much else that I can think of.

Dont discount your A15, a well built A15 will give a wake up call to a lot cars that thought they were "fast".

Converteds A15 powered coupe was getting around Wakefield faster than the WRXs and Evos.
