I heard alot of different opinions but i want to hear your guys opinion...which head will be best base head for a wicked motor...I have o/s stainless valves...1mm.... waiting to be put on a head.but i want to make sure before i work-out a worthless head, and i could have gone with a better option..
1. I have a w58 head with the exaust liners taken out and ported majorly..will that suit a worked motor???yes but will a different head be better?has anyone done that??
or i could go with the 210,or the u67..i know the u67 is very common..but possibly could my worked w58 be worth to use?
Specs: plans:L20B w/dual 45s ,headers,radical cam,forged pistons,nitrous plumbed......lots of trips***
I just would like your guys opinion so i could finish my dream mobile..thanks

U67 are open chamber heads. go with the old CCC theory for power - compression cam carbs. the U67 have big ports but open chambers, whereas the A87 head (L18) has peanut (closed) chambers but smaller ports. i think there is a closed chamber head from an L20 called a V91 but they are quite rare.

So A Standard W53 Head ......would give better performance on a L20b Compared to the standard U67 head???

with the cost involved mainly being in the work you would do to the head i would be looking at the cleanest head that will give you a suitable compression

If your happy with running pump fuel and with price of fuel id be trying to get away with 95 octane

id probably chose a series two bluebird head they will be the easyest to find in good condition and they appear to have good port castings from what ive seen

If you want the comp your looking for the closed chamber L18 head
