Some GX heads have no casting number on them.
A proper GX head has extra tall ports, (Inlet) and water ports underneath which are about 8-10 mm. ( the a15 ones are only about 5mm)
If there are raised bits under the valve gear over top of the intake ports, then it is a nissan competition head, so grab it with both hands.

Does anyone know the seller of this item in Melbourne? Is he a trusted Datto1200 website member by any chance?

Hmmm....well, I haven't had a good look at a real A-series Comp head before but surely the intake ports should be bigger? The intake ports on the ebay listing look round as opposed to oval. No water holes might suggest they were filled for extractors but you can't even see the fill. Not sure if it's anything special but in my opinion not a GX. You should ask the seller for more info or better photos

I'm not sure how this person can call this a GX head.
