I have worn out a front wheelbearing on my 1000, using too big fat wheels not designed for it, so back to nice lil 12" alloys now.

also on the same wheel is a blown wheel cylinder, but brake shoes are near new.

I have a whole spare car, so was thinking of changing the whole stub axle over with the bearing and brakes all there, rather than trying changing the bearing and cylinder over individually from the other car.

what is easier, there is no play in the steering at all in the car, so im thinking belting at the balljoints might mess that up..
