im lookin at gettin a lenso rim to fit my 1200 coupe an it has dimensions of

15" x 6.5"

38mm offset.

Will this fit without any modifications to the guards or will they have to be lipped?

More importantly, do i need to put in spacers to bring the offset out. Im only scared that the rim will interfere with the strut on the front wheel.

cheers

I think i have 15x6 rims on my sunny 310, and because I bought them for another car, I had to have expensive lug adaptors made to make them fit, and they just barely fit. My problem is that they rub the fenders slightly when turning, I fixed that, but there is the additional problem that the wheel center is slightly outside the hub center and it makes the car pull a little when breaking hard. Stanza or 280zx struts might fix that.

195x50x15 tires fit.

what offset 15" wheels would work on a 280zx? those would be the ones to try.

That's a very positive offset mate. Probably more suited to a front wheel drive set up. Do some measuring and see if they'll get under the guards and not foul the struts.

Forgot to mention that I'm running 1200/120Y struts with adjustable coilover platforms in my ute. Anything wider than a 6" rim fouls on either the guard or the strut depending on the offset. +28 is the most positive offset I've been able to use. Hope this helps.
