don't know much about the a15 except that its bigger than the a14 the a14's got pretty much a square bore/stroke and can rev pretty good without spending heaps of $$$.
as for carbs sidedraughts and "twins" (guessing su type) are both great i've had both twin su type and twin weber carbs on the one engine (at different times of course ) but really comes down to what you can get the easiest and how much you're willing to spend... su type = cheaper if you get a decent set ready to go, and needles are reasonably easy to get, while the weber type can get real expensive if you have to start changing jets, emulsion tubes etc to get 'em right for your engine....
hope this helps a little
