my problem is,
puttin my motor back together i labelled everything on tape ( typical pre-caution) but the friggin tape faded.
now that made this problem where does my plug go? i know the bit u can see it goes to the loom but the other end of it? i have no idea...

its on the injection harness which has these plugs
* injectors 1-4
*this plug ( show in pics with screw driver or circled)
*another plug under it ( which goes into just under where u see it)
*TPS
*dizzy
*coil

all accounted for bar the 1st one
i remember it running thru and under the intake to sumwhere????
so i roughly traced where it could go and leads to nothing.. all plugs are accounted for.
to trip me out more i wrote on it "next to oil filter" and the plug there doesnt match this one and its already got a matching plug, and no other plugs around the oil filter that i can see either.

ne1 got an sr20de car? or ne idea's ???
i think ill try n go out on saturday to sum car yards n see if i can find one with this motor and trace it :P

Do SRs have a knock sensor?

Looking at the S14 Factory handbook PDF..

It does look like one of the 2 idle air control valve plugs

I think the knock sensor has a Bosch injector type connector, which has a extension to a 2 pin Nissan connector ( I I )

The knock sensor bolts on the the block just below the head on intake manifold side. There will just be an empty bolt hole, nothing else. The hole will be 8mm, with a 1.25 thread pitch. one wire is the output wire from the knock sensor, the other one is an earth that prevents electrical interference.
