i have in my 1200 ute the older style a12 and lately i have noticed some oil coming out of the dizy hole, should i be worried? how can i stop it?

there is a o-ring under the distributor, that needs replacing.

Just wondering how worn is the distributor is in your engine. This is nomaly a sign of a engine not having it's oil changed regular in the past and the grim or slug as some people call it has worked up the shaft to damage the seal / o-ring.This is common thing in japan made cars used in the aussie bush because the lack of care on them ( Mazda's was once the worse for this problem)?

Well age and heat has alot to do with it too. heat can make the o-ring hard and brittle over a period of time.
