hey guys

ive done a ca18 conversion in my 1200 coupe but the original swaybar doesnt fit under cause it gets in the way of the sump, but only by 10mm or so.

does anyone know if there's another swaybar that i can use which will fit an bring forward the most front part of the swaybar forward by atleast 10mm or does anyone know where i can get a custom made swaybar for a good price.

alternatively, i dont suppose i can alter my one?

cheers

Sounds to me that your engine is sitting to far forward the swaybar should clear the sump bye around 20mm. Maybe if you drop the sway bar fit the engine and refit the swaybar it may work. Good luck
Ps: where did you end up getting the Xmember made??

yeah, i know. I tried pushing it back as far as it could go.

I won the xmember from ebay.

I think he had the height too high which means that you cant flaten the engine out perrfectly. However, everything does fit perfectly anyway, apart from the swaybar.

The gearbox sits at a good line, an the line of the tailshaft is great.

One thing not to fit aint worth mucking around with the rest of it.

i was hoping someone could tell me of someone that makes custom swaybars.
