The biggest problem I have found so far is the quality of the boss kit(adaptor).
I recently fitted a wood wheel to my ute and have had hassles with the indicator canselling cam and also the earth contact for the horn.
I also bought a wheel that was a few inches smaller than the original and since I dont have power steering I now have heavier steering.

Autotechnica also do some reosonable budget steering wheels here in australia (I dont know if they are international or not) but the boss kits place the steering wheel an inch or two closer to the driver which really sucks in a 1200 ute, but probably ok for coupe's 120y & sunny......
