I was wondering if someone could shed some light on the some of the weaknesses you would get with a A series race motor eg oil pressure etc.

It will be for a high reving a14 race motor

Andrew.

the rod bolts fail with sustained high rpm treatment. (9000+rpms) word is that ARP bolts from a 351 windsor fit.
Cast pistons don't like too much more than 10psi of boost.
replace the springs on your rockershaft with bushes. This prevents the rocker arms migrating at big revs and bending the push rods.
