Hi guys just came back from welllington 1/8mile drags.
I was testing out the new diff ratio and ignition setup
She cranks very nicley still a hassle getting it off the line without bogging or heaps of wheelspin.
The best way to get it going was 5500rpm load the clutch up then launch hard and feed it heaps in 2nd run a few 8.20 second passes and a best 8.06. Supprised quite a few people as its not really much of a drag car. Ill be uploading some video of it in action on my webpage soon.
Andrew

That's some crazy numbers, looks like you'd be beating the old 12sec 1/4 mile best you've done.

I guess it's just as you suspected, "it's faster than ever".

Thanks chris im pretty happy with how its going .
Lagwagon no idea on MPH. Its not even a proper drag strip just an old airport runway that they use for drag racing on weekends. A R32 GTR was running 7.70 at wellington and had run 11.3 at eastern creek so going off that the datto should be running mid to high 11s
dodgman is right with the distance its 660ft or 1 furlong 10 chains or 40 rods LOL a lot of old ways of measuring.

mid 11's, veeery nice. with a set of drag racing slicks i think you'd find yourself just in the elevens... the lower side! with the power you have an awesome time is just some grip away!

interesting with the 660ft thing coz on my last of four runs when i went to the drags i posted a 7.94sec 660ft, my best all day but then went on to miss fourth twice to roll through for a 12.6. that news you gave is very encouraging for a nice legs 11
