My wife's ute has been lower on the driver's side front since I've bought it. It originally had severely cut springs which I swapped for standard springs and this week I installed new lowering springs and new shocks. Every setup, same story.

Is there something I should be looking at? All the suspension seems to be in good condition, nothing bent, and it appears to never been in a collision.

What's next???

Same story with mine too. Real bad with the originals cos the driver's side had sagged but same story with all others I have tried. I have tried swapping springs from side to side etc but with little or no effectl. I have just put a set of new Lovell Super Low stanza springs in it and the difference is about 5mm which can be evened up by gently leaning on the passenger's side.

I have chalked it down to the extra weight of the battery, steering box & steering column on the drivers side- probably an extra 15-20kgs all up.

Hmmm... I don't have this problem with my ute... is this common with other people too?

Sounds to me that like the rear springs are high on the list of suspects too.

I'm on my third set of springs in the wife's ute... no changes. If it's not a weight issue could it be a damaged sway bar? Maybe it's twisted?

I have a 1977 120Y (B210) sedan... it leans to the drivers side (the right, as it's RHD) considerably - I'm guessing a broken/worn leaf spring...

but my new project car - '75 120Y sedan doesn't lean...

guess I'll find the cause when I pull the diff out of the '77 to put in the '75 (the '77 is an australian made late model )
