Or if some one has a Link to a site where some one has allready done this with the run down on what u did to make things happen.

Ive done engine swaps befor, 18RG in a TA22 (fairly eazy swap), but id like to know as much info as i can get befor startin.

Chers Psylent.

Using the 200B x-member is a new one to me (too wide). If you use the search button you will find years of info. . .

And contact details of a few who have done the same conversion. . .

the 200b Crossmember won't fit you will want ot cut doen the standerd mounts and fit the L series ones. and find the suitable sump.

i'm doing this on a 120Y so i can use the 180B crossmember, but there is still a bit of work involved.

gday Psylent,
I have a l20b in my 1200 coupe.
as stated, the std crossmember needs to modified, there isn't a bolt in replacement. Using a stanza sump, and stanza 5spd (uses the original hole and fits tightly in the std tunnel.
The only other thing that took a while to find was the radiator which ended up being an early 80s prelude unit (low and long and outlet and inlet on the correct side)
The motor is a really good fit.
I might be selling my whole combo if your interested as I am in the process of putting in a ca18.
cheers
Bruce

I used a different method for connecting the clutch master cylinder.
Using a stanza master cylinder
I put a hole in the firewall in line with the existing pedal and drilled a whole in the pedal to incorporate the push rod from the master cylinder.

I got the stanza 5spd fitted in a manual tunnel. Had to remove the original welded gearbox supports as your link suggested.
