Dd anyone watch pimp my ride last nite>???

They put in a limo window to the back of this little chev truck which looked awesome.

The window was operable so she could use hear pool table in the back.

Just wondering if anyone has seen a limo window be put in to a 1200 ute and wether you think it will be a big task to do>>>?

I think a fellow member of Datsun 1200.com was in the process of doing said conversion.... can't remember who though...

yeah I'm positive there is a pic on this site of someone's effort, I don't know if he ever finished it though

Whats the go with that.Do they do other stuff like rebuild the engine and stuff like that ?

It wouldn't be to good having a $10k TV and your engine blowing smoke.

yeah thats my biggest gripe about Pimp my ride is they go heres your car and all it has is paint and body kits and ALOT of electronics ie LCD screens etc.

The only engine mods they do is pull out old crappy engines and replace them with bigger engiens so that all the performance mods I've seen.

What cracks me up the most is when they are talking to the camera about their life and their car they talk normal when Xibit gets near out comes the homie talk hahahaha

Anyway thats my rant for today

What really pisses me off is these guys dont deserve to get there cars pipmed cause you can tell they will trash it!!!. None of them have garages could you imagine parking a car out on the streets with 4 x 15" monitors, 8 x 12" subs????? sitting in 24" rims....! How long is that gonna last...!

I saw a late model Honda CRX yesterday, and they have a limo window in them. It wouldn't be impossible to use that as a starting point.

I like Pimp my Ride. It's funny and they have some good ideas, but I wouldn't let those boys anywhere near one of my Dattos.

OK, I didn't see the show and i wanna know, what's a Limo window?
Is that where they take out the rear window and replace it with sheet metal that has a much smaller rear window in it, about the size of the rear windows that you see in 1920's era cars. The limo's I have seen like this are usually black, or have a vinyl roof.

No. I limo window is an electronic operbale window that can be put down and up.

I think it would look cool on a Datto ute and might allow some fresh air in on those hot summer days.
