Guys,

After a reall good spray painter in the Sydney Area, can anyone recommend someone. Also after a few ideas on colours and guestimates on price for a full bare metal respray to a 1200 Ute...

I was thinking of a candy apple red???

i know of a couple of good ones and also i work in a panel shop which does good jobs if you want i can give some addresses of some of these. where abouts in the syrney region?

Im in the Penrith area but am willing to travel nearlly anywhere for a good panel spray painter... Have you got any idea of cost $$$? the panel work is perfect the cars was sprayed about 18months ago, Im just wondering if its worth my while cause im really hooked up on the Candy Apple Red....

if your looking for advice on colours and want something bright candy apple aqua and blues and greens are good, i looked at candy apple violet i was drooling all over the sample very nice colour .

Realise that Candy paint cant be blended if a future repair is required. Whole panels need to be painted. If the colour isnt spot on - badluck.
Just something to think about before you spent your dollars

budget for about $4000 to strip panel and repaint for something good depending how much needs to be done

4000 dollars is about what itll cost to strip and prpare these days... maybe double it to do the rest, and thats hoping they put ur car back together properly.

yeah candys are a sweet colour, but as someone already said - one decent mark and you will be hard pressed getting the panel repainted properly!! and little marks/scratched really show up in the white/light base colour. House of Kolor have some really sexy different kandys and other colours, cant remember the site, but google it
