ok this is starting to get really annoying.... me and my dad have tried to get my indicators working but the indicators are still working as hazard lights. (if u put them on left they go hazard, if u put them on right they go hazard also) has anyone else had the same problem with their 1000? does anyone know what might be going on??

also my uncle said that it was odd that there is a flasher unit on my brake pedal switch...

does anyone have a clue whats wrong with my car ???

cheers shaun

Did you ever try changing the indicator switch? Does the car have an alarm?

Pull the indicator stalk out put it on the bench put 12volts into the white wire, move the switch for left, check with a test light there should be power only coming out of one wire, do the same to the right. pull the switch apart & clean it, look for a bent piont that could be touching both left & right. the switch on the brake peddle is for your brake lights.

pop out the steering column cover. just below the wiper switch there is a 5 pin connector.

it controls the horn, left signal, right signal, hazard and ground.

check it out
