And since she was out supervising and inspecting, here's one of the Shop Supervisor...

If you need some more, just pm me and I can stick them up on a website somewhere or e-mail them to you. I also Photoshopped these down so they could be put on the web. In full resolution, they are large but show a lot of detail..

Is this what you were looking for?

Thanks very much for the pictures Duncan, as this is exactly what I was looking for & the pictures reveal two disturbing things.
1. This instalation uses a bulky York twin cylinder compressor.
2. It is positioned right smack where the intake of the EFI will go, so sadly, it is a system that I am unable to use.

Never mind, I have a plan 'B' which, if it can be pulled off, will change the whole character of my coupe for the better. It's a big IF, but i'm working on it.

The underdash evaporator in the photo above is really cool & well fitting & this design would be perfect for my car, but I doubt that such a thing existed for the KB10. Even the one in Duncans car is a good design too & if I could find one like it I would grab it.

I figured the unit was probably too big for your application. I noticed HotRod's a/c unit and I suspect his is an aftermarket setup, where I *believe* mine is a dealer installed unit. Mine says Datsun on it and Hotrod's doesn't, but the fit is much nicer. I think the unit in mine was probably fit into other models, also.

Thanks for the pics. Nice shots.

There were no factory installs back in the day, only dealer-installed. I heard there were two different suppliers in the US. Also there was at least one aftermarket kit.
