Hey this is going to sound wierd haha.

Okay this is not andrew aka Ca18det_man, its actually B120dat.

Andrew is having problems logging on. keeps not letting him on the site, he has tried changing passwords etc and disabled his firewall etc. Can anyone think what other problems it could be?

Oh to add to the dilema i signed in on his name to test it was a problem only a problem on his computer but now i cant sign out of his account!!!

I have had similar problems on this site but just wanted to see hat people thought on behalf of Andrew.

P.s Now i know how it feels to have a super fast coupe!!! time to start grudges and late night drag off meeting points

Cheers

Yesterday was especially bad for the problem you are describing. My log-in was being accepted by the server but the logged in pages weren't being served out to my computer. I am also seeing a few probs now - mainly the front page. I can see that there have been new posts for a thread (e.g total of 7 posts) but when I attempt to view it I get to view only 2 posts and they are yesterdays. It seems as though there is a caching problem with the Branco bros server. Has AD cleared his own cache out on IE?
I guess you (B120) can't sign out because your exit request is not being refreshed either on your PC or the server.

So does anyone actively moderate this site? I ask because I want to know the staus of my account I cant acess. If possible I'd like all my posts and info and stuff to be in littlefireryone's (no 's) name. Or mabey its just possible to change my current account name to littlefireryone and delete the old account.

The Administers are the Branco Brothers, and they've never appointed any Moderators for reasons knowns only to themselves.

Could be corrupt files or a problem with xoops itself.

Check this out: no pic or post

Haha, Andrew sounds like you've let yourself go abit.

Sounds similar to problems I was having a few weeks ago. Was to do with the sites server.
I will send Pedro a message at his other website and see if he knows of the cause.

hahah watch it

It finally let me sign out! so B120dat is back , was good to have such power for a couple of days

It may have fixed its self up now so andrew give it a go?

Everyone on this site has seemed to have these little problems, but overall the site has done pretty well over the years. The site is getting full but i think! Plus we get alot of people using the site all times of the day.
