Hi all, i am heading back to Aust and was hoping to drive my ute down to Sydney. Kev has done a lot of work for me while i have been in Japan but says the engine needs a tune before the drive.

I was wondering if somebody could provide the number of a good shop who can help me out on December 15th and 16th in Brissy or surrounds? The car is currently in ipswich. (And if you can, give me a rough cost estimate??)

Cheers big ears.

Are you talking about Kev Rowley? Is yours the ute sitting out at his house? Kev seems to like Matt Spry@PITS for tuning. So maybe get onto him

Yeah that is my ute out at Kev's... Hopefully it is registered after all the "little things" that have come up.

Have you got a number for "Matt Spry@PITS"?

Got 1.5 working days left till i am in transit to Australia. Gotta get it organised fast.

RE. Goodies. I am only back in Oz for a short visit so I will be back in Japan next year, too. As far as goodies go, i am not really in an area where i can get anything - do you know what "inaka" means?

Cheers, aye!

Although yellowpages.com.au lists Hardcore's number as:
Unit 3/ 74 Moss St Slacks Creek QLD 4127
ph: (07) 3299 4344 Motor Sport Services

And Matt Spry's / P.I.T.S details are this i think... Performance Injection Tuning Services (PITS) 10/42 Export Drv Molendinar
Matty Spry - 0411 340 033

i will probly go with Hardcore as they are closer to Kev's place and i am pretty tight for time. Plus Kev says it is only a pinging problem, hopefully related to boost.

We'll see on Thursday or Friday i guess.

PS. Kev is a bloody champion by the way.

i agree with Jozz. I get my car tuned at hardcore, always have. I just said matty cause thats who kev uses. The boys at hardcore are all mates of mine and do good work. They made 312hp on my ute (haven't paid for a tune ever ) and also tune jozz sedan too. And a heap of other CA's

PS yes Kev is a top bloke

Any recommendations for someone either on the Northside or maybe the Valley area?
