Hi all
I am almost ready to drop in my new A15 but before I do I need to find an electronic fuel pump to feed the twin sidedraught weber carbs with enough fuel. I don't know exactly what type of pump to get or what pressure it needs to pump at so if anyone can suggest a pump that will feed the carbs that would be super! also I am unsure how to wire the pump up so any ideas on that set up would also be great

4 PSI is plenty enough pressure, it should be mounted by the fuel tank, preferably with a restricted return line. it should be wired to the ignition swith through a relay, you can also include an isolating switch if you so wish.
Although the factory mechanical fuel pump delivers plenty enough fuel for a road car on webers.

I would use the standard fuel pump but unfortunateley the hole where the pump goes has been converted into an engine mounting point so thats out of the question. I was thinking of just putting a pump after the fuel filter and pumping it straight into the carb with no return line. Would that work? I don't want to redo the entire fuel system just get the engine running on an electric fuel pump

Still mount the pump by the tank, put a fuel filter before the pump, and you don't have to run a return, it's just optimal to do so.
Repco do an aftermarket low pressure fuel pump, if you are looking.

check under the back of series 2 bluebirds, they have a large facet fuel pump, with a mounting point for a fuel filter.these come on a huge bracket, which can probably be cut down & fitted under a 1200.worth a look in my opinion.

Looks like same pump as mine
I run from tank thru filter.... to the pump..... then to front of car........ thru malpassi reg....... thru another filter..... then into carbs.
No return line
Can't say I've ever had a fuel starvation problem either.

That hose is not suitable for fuel injection but is fine for carbs.
