maybe we can help you chose between one of those
if you dont have any idea maybe its a bit early to paint the car

pick a colour that stands out.
i saw this nice R100 at Jam it was black it didn't realy stand out.

on the other hand my mates ute is painted in ford blue print, which is brite and stands out. So many photos were taken of it !!!

Go look at some car yards, find one you like there.

Go for a standard colour. If you spend the cash to get a custom mixed paint and some prick keys your ride you'll have to paint the whole thing again.

Ford blue print is a hot colour but every wog and his dog has it now, just like the volvo tiger mica epic a few years back.

Race into a few new car dealers and grab some brochures, these always have colour listings.

hello

I am in the same boat so dont feel left out i only got a week of two to choose a colour. go for a colour that you like, not a colour that every one tell you to paint it. everyone said to me blue, but i am thinking of a bright orange with gold through it.Go into a Custom paint shop and they are usually a great help thats what i have been doing.

good luck with choosing. hope you find a colour that you like.

There are a couple of silver 1200s on this site that look great imho. Have you had a look through the photo section to see if there are any there you like?

i think the most important thing about building a car is that the whole car looks good as a package...

id like to think that people drive past my car and say "wow did u see that neat little 1200 ute?"

and not things like "wow did u see the colour of that 1200 ute?"

or "wow did u see the size of the rims on that 1200 ute?"

having said that mine is a bright green which was painted by a previous owner during the SS commodore green phase.

sure i get heaps of good comments about the colour..

but somtimes i wish it was white with hubcaps

good luck with your choice
