weight difference between sr20det and ca-18det?

ca18det is 130kg and sr20 is 150kg
these measurments are with in 5kg peding on if motor is dry.

far out you mean I have 50kg weight advantage running an SR20DE with quad throttles. Thats heaps....mine now weighs 97kg

u can double check in tech section if u are unsure im sure they have engine weights in there

yea.. i read in a japanese magazine that there's a 25kg difference between the motors. ca18det being lighter obviously.

i take it you're running an s14 or s15 turbo to get 256whp..? i have the stock t25 in my 2dr sedan with a ca18det and i get crazy wheel spin through third. you must have serious traction problems. :)
