Hello there,

I'm planning on taking my B310 Hillcliming/Sprinting, I'm aiming for 200bhp per ton at the moment which I think is achievable within the regulations. However before I do that I want to make sure the thing sticks to the road and goes round corners nicely.

What upgrades will help me with this? I also want to get it as low to the ground as possible to help airflow (as long as it's an inch above the ground I'm within the regs (!!) ) ... What are my options? I notice a few B310 race cars on here, what set up as ya'll running?

I'm using Stanza struts which are currently having the tubes cut off and replaced with larger diameter tubes to take an adjustable commodore insert. They are also 4" shorter than standard and are having Noltec Coilover hardware fitted, with Eibach Springs and Noltec adjustable strut tops.

On the rear, we cut out the section which normally locates the rear spring in the body and replaced it with a flat panel. we then welded in the threaded tube from another Noltec coilover kit to give us height adjustment in the rear. On the diff housing we removed the satndard spring seats and machined up some new ones to take the Eibach springs we use in the rear. Rear shocks are adjustable Spax.

Front sway bar is adjustable and measures 22mm. No rear sway bar.

Gazelle diff is much wider than standard, so we fitted flares (50mm each side) to house the wheels which were machined with a +10mm offest to sit them backin side the body.

That should get you started

Mark.

Well that should keep me busy ...

Sounds like I need to find a Stanza to butcher...

Sadly I suspect the commodore inserts are going to be tricky to source in the UK! :)
