In that case, I would stick to a ute engineered in WA. Otherwise I would be talking to WA DOT about if its possible to register an interstate engineered ute with this engine.

Plenty of pics of QLD and ACT engineered utes on this site.
Whats the difference between Engineered and Fully Engineered? Is one the ethnic version?

Well i found out from the authorities over here that if a car licenced in another state they have to licence it over here. Ofcourse there are some checks and balances but the the sharp end of the razor is... IM BACK ON THE HUNT!

Does anybody know of anybody who has ever owned an SR20DET 1200 ute? Are they as rare as hen's teeth? I know i havent seen one in Perth.
