I am just finalising a deal with a new sponsor.

On the Sunny I will be converting my halogen lights over to xenon HID lights.

This type of lighting system really is amazing, I've seen the comparison first hand in the forest and the HID lights are far superior over halogen for a brighter-whiter light and they use less power to run them.

I will post the website here for you to have a look at.

If any of you are interested in purchasing any of the conversion kits now or in the future, contact me and I will put you in contact with my sponsor to help get you a better price

There is a disclaimer to be read about the product and the ADR.

Thanks Chris,

It is a bonus having them come on board and I really do hope I can help them out as well.

Things are looking good for sponsors for the car...late last year I was a approached by another potential sponsor. Just fianalising this one as well so I can't say to much, but what I can say it is a leading Australia wide hydraulic hose repair company who had a lot of money tied up with a touring car team who's driver has left Aus. to go and drive in the States.

This will be a local franchise only deal not national (bummer), but do keep an eye on the new Ford Focus rally cars this year.

Heres a little bit more info on the lights and a bit of an idea on pricing.

Where just discussing now how all this is going to work, I would think I would be able to do better prices than what is advertised on this auction.

Edit: I just want to mention here that I will in no way profit (with money) from any transactions that may occur, it's just on a referral basis.

Congratulations Gary that is great news. I know that motorsport sponsorship for lowish budget privateers is hard to find, and this deal is testament not only to your obvious ability as car builder and driver, but also to your skill as someone who is able to attract and demonstrate value to potential sponsors.
Good on you, and all the best.
