HI there, wanted to know from any man or his dog if 200B struts and rotors will fit into a 120y, and are they shorter that stanza struts??

Thanks, and just remember that a peanut butter sandwitch does'nt taste nice with hair in it.

not without replacing the lower control arms,
ball joints & steering arms, which can come from either a sunny or a stanza.the 200b struts are shorter than the stanza struts, but the bottom spring perch is larger.

ah okay, why is it nessicary to change all the contol arms etc. also I went to the wreckers and mesaured a 120y strut, it is the same length as the 200b one. So it is of no use to me, as I'm trying to lower the car. I did have shorter springs on the stanza struts but it bottoms out on the smallest of bumps, so I put a standard 120y sping in which is about 1inch shorter than the stanza spring, but it is way to high. I don't want to pay $500 to have the struts shortened, there must be some way to lower it. Any suggestions? Thanks

is there a company that makes coil overs or adjustable coilovers for a 78 b210(aka 120y)?

there are conversions for 280zx turbo struts. It's a major investment since you get practically a whole new front end it's lots of work, but you're in luck because the guy I get stuff made by is in oregon.

the conversion is probably close to $2000 after you've gotten new brakes, adjustable struts, the coil, labor on modifying and rethreading the 280zx strut housing, stainless brake lines, camber plates,etc...

then you need to have it all installed and set up. fun!!!

I bought the entire 280ZX set-up with modded cross memeber , struts , camber plates , calipers milled to fit in a 13" wheel , radious rods , steering box and drag links for $1100 used in 1992 so I would say $2000 sounds about right. I used the scales we had for our local SCCA races to set up the car.
