Hey guys,

Test day at Wakefield Park today, and we set our new fastest lap....1:10.94.... Looking to get in to the 1:09's tomorrow....Should be a great weekend of racing.

The new engine/tune is awesome, pulls like a train out of every corner! Problem is getting the power to the ground.

I'll report back.

Mark

Congratulations, I would have liked to have been there to see it.
Did you get any rain? It rained here a couple of times, but with any luck, all you got was nice cool humid air,

Great news ..Good one Mark.

Just like or Commonwealth Games (wannabe Olympics for the British Empire)..I love it when the athletes beat their Personal Best. You can't ask for more!

Keep it up.

how does this compare to the track record?

with a car that looks that fast, it can't be that far off it

Hi Mark thats great news...the times will tumble with some fair dinkum racing going on.

As for track times Dazza...the lead cars on Mark class (IPRA over 2 ltr) are doing consistant 1.07's....Mark will need to develop his exit from corner strategy a bit more and he'll be right on them...

Well done Mark, i was close with the earlier call of 1:10's ..maybe i will have to bring down the 1200 and show you the way around to get you in to the 1:07's bracket....HA, not.

Top effort.

Sounds like now have the power, well required torque, and just need to put it to the ground.

cheers
benny

To give you a bit of perspective, the V8 supercars do it in about 1.02 and my uncles stock evo iii does it in about 1.14.

Like I said in the other thread, his torque line is just about dead flat at over 200lb's ft from about 4,000 rpm right out to the red line. Thats amazing & it's the flatest torque line I can remember seeing. [i refuse to call that one a torque 'curve']
Looking foward to your detailed description of what the inside of the winners circle looks like.
