Thought it was neccisary to show all you out there who are interested in the 1200 wagon what it looks like when its been dumped

Here he is. I took out the shocks to see how low she can go. Its all back together now though, back to his high self.
Excuse the poor photo quality. I didnt have my camera with me and had to use a crappy one.

rekon aye. photos dont quite do it justice as to how it looked in the flesh. SOooo awsome lol. That height that its at there is as low as possible without shortened shocks. Its on the bump stops. So when i get some new springs to lower it then it'll be not quiet that low but almost unless i get shortened shocks. Without shortened shocks it'll be a little bit higher so i can have SOME suspension travel and not be on the bump stops always . watch this space. soon to be lowered properly

Looks good lowered an idea lot of work lower the hats or coil cups on the struts about three inches. make sure the strut cartridges are out when doing this because of explosion ( seen the aftermass not pretty) it still maitains a descent ride.

Looks cool. Are you gonna keep those wheels or change them eventually?

I have been told that my old wags is coming along nicely. Its had full rails put in, a complete cage with front suspension mounting points, New firewall, floor, tunnel and huge tubs. Its just waiting for the one piece glass frontend to arrive in Australia.
Its going to be an interesting car to see on the drag strip

So how does removing the shocks lower the car? Do you have aftermarket coil-over-shocks? Or gas-charged shocks and struts (which shouldn't raise the car much)?
