I HAVE A DATSUN 1976 1300 UTE AND ON THE MODEL PLATE IN THE ENGINE BAY IT HAS.

TYPE: 521
ENGINE CAPACITY 1299 cc
MAX. HP at RPM 67HP/5200 RPM (SAE)
WHEEL BASE 2530 mm
ENGINE NO. J-777691
CAR NO. 521-083659

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THIS ALL MEANS (BECAUSE I WOULD'NT HAVE A CLUE) THANKS

First, You have a 521 series Pickup / ute, the 521 is the pickup version of the datsun 520 series. Looks to be in good order. Best of luck. Question; How much rust in the ute? Bruns

The front left hand side cabmount is all rusted out, door sills are a little rusted out but other then that the rest of its fine.

I think that is more like a 71-73 check your drivers door there should be a production year mark. I had a 76 pickup and it was a model 620.
