Here is the thing guys, I replaced the front windscreen in my datsun 1000 but the rubber has aged pretty bad so it took a beating when I removed it. Since spares are hard to come by for these cars in SOUTH AFRICA I used the same rubber when I put the new windscreen on. Now the the car leaks even more and the cool chrome strip doesnt seem to want to stay in place. I know the 1400 Nissan vans produced here use the same size rubber but they dont have the chrome strip. Can anyone suggest where I can probably get a new rubber or even a way of adapting the chrome strip to suit the 1400 rubber.
