the bonnet will 'twist' if you leave it open with the bonnet stay in the passenger side front corner for long periods. this makes the drivers side sit lower when the bonnets closed.

My fanatical panel beating mate will not put the bonnet stay in the hole on the pass side, he props it under the bonnet catch to stop twisting.

welll thats what i thought it was but i thought because all the wieght on the piont i thought it would stick up no go down the stops are still in but in alot of photos there are alot of datos that hav the sam problem

I have gas struts on my BBQ. it all so open much higher so gives you more room to work.
