just fired up my fresh new L20..with dual 45,572/292cam,o.s ss valves,3 angle bla,bla..the truck just does not want to rev clean..and with load on it its very sad...i think it could be the timing??i still need to fine tune but i need pointers..stock ignition is being used because of problems on how to hook up a 6al on.

could i be the carbes..its been jeted up a few steps and the chokes are 36..the plugs are black??am i geting enough fuel..or not???any suggestions???
