After 6 months of sitting in the shed I finally pulled my finger out and put my 1200 back together
The clutch and flywheel was fixed months ago.The engine has been sitting inplace for a few weeks. Anway after a few skined knuckles and a bit of swearing she is all back together charged up the battery and fired her up. Had one small problem with fuel system apparently after avgas sits for a while its absorbs water and had caused a bit of corrosion in my fuel rail all clean now and running smoothly. I will be taking it down for a few power runs on dyno to make sure all is still ok before the datsun track day in August.
Cant wait to see it running 22psi 8000rpm black tracking all over the place

should be still running a bit over 200rwkw Im still running with stock cams and rods. Im taking down some old worn tyres to have a go at some drifting at wakefield LOL.
Im also in the process of slowly building another engine I already have some forgies with total seal rings arp stud kit & steel headgasket. Once funds permit ill be buying a set or PAR conrods and some tomie procams springs ect. Maybe even a HKS GTRS turbo.
Anybody have a spare Ca18DET bottom end they want to offload cheap?? Might even be interestested in a swap + cash for my old bottom end.
Im not looking for that much more power just a bit more punch out of the corners and up the hills.
