Hi im going to set my ca ute for drags has anyone got a ca in a 1200 with auto behind it?
Just wanted to know what they go like and if it kills to much power?

The autos do kill a lot of power, however they will still be quicker at the track, the power figure is just good for dyno readings. A few 1200's that run autos that people might know are

Mick Silks 1200 wagon 57OKK - trimatic, 9.7

Mark Bournes 1200 Ute YEH09 - 9.57

Tim Graham 1200 Sedan 04RCN - 2 speed glide- 9.92

Chris Adams 1200 Ute 10STU - I believe he ran his 1st 9 (9.7) just the other night

I'm still a 5 speed. Only run a 12.4@116mph but thats with short shifting (big issues). Should go quicker next time once i sort it. Check my photo album for more detailed pics on my car.
