What model of A12?
The A12 that was used in Datsun 1200's had a single timing pointer in it & the various timing marks were on the front pulley. At some point the design changed & a single mark was placed on the pulley. The new casting had the different timing marks on it, so there are two types.
Either can be used on any of the A series engines, but you need the matching pulley if you use the early one.

It's a 75 model 120y engine with single crank pulley. The timing cover has multiple timing marks on it. Cheers
