Weight of engines?

After reading a thread I have a bit of a question
what is the weights of the engines we talk about here.
The reason I ask this is I have just finished my SR20 conversion and am crourius about the differance in the weight from my A14 to my sr 20

the A14 being a smaller engine logic would say it would be lighter, is it? the A14 is cast Iron (I think)
and the SR is cast alloy so would the weight of the material used dictate the final weight of the engine over the capacity???? Im confusing my self writing this so I hope some one can decifer it.
anyway if any one has more time than I do wants to search the net for the weights of the A series engines
L series
CA 18's
SR20's
Z18's

or if there are any freaks (in a nice way) that just know this stuff let us know

Plus gearbox + tailshaft and the rest. Loom, bigger radiator etc.

Yeah everyone thinks SRs are heaps light been all alloy. But infact they are heavy little suckers.

yeah my m8s sr20 1600 has got skinny tires on the front they might have been 4" wide and he was drivin round oran park and it was raining and the front end completley lost traction round the corners because of the extra weight but it never happened when he had his L16 and it had the same tyres and it was raining the day he went

I weighed my SR20 with the quads and it came in at 96kg.
I weighed my A15 without exhaust manifold of intake manifold and it was 69kgs
I weighed the webers and manifold and it was 8kgs so all up 77kgs...
now I reckon 20kgs difference wasnt too bad...especially for the extra power.

I think the weight in the SR is in the plenum...quite heavy and the iron exhaust manifold, very heavy flywheel and power steering pump this would bump the weight up to the 135kgs quoted
