VN series 2 commodore will be your best bet....cheap, high cooling capacity, light, right height and width and outlets in the right spot for an SR20DE motor...trust me I went through hundreds of radiators at different wreckers to come up with this solution....
you will nedd to cut and modify you collant outlet attached to the head on the exhaust side to stick straight out and not bend 90 degrees like it is from factory. And use the flexible radiator hoses you can get from supercheap. I think I used the 400mm length ones and its tight but a good fit.

I had to get a custom one made used a 510 radiator with modified end tanks then had to modify the water inlet elbow
total cost was about $450 and can be done by ant decent radiator guy. I used south coast radiators in wollongong as they were close to me

do the vn radiators have the inlet and outlet on the same sides as A series ones, or are they like L series ones?

just having a quick look at VN radiators:

Seems like the outlet/intlet are the wrong way arond, are you sure you used a VN?

the lower outlet on a s14 radiator would not allow me to have the hose clearance I needed fro the Alt belt...
