hi guys just wondering im not sure if i have round port head or oval port head. i was thinkin about puttin a bigger carbie on and not sure which one i have. i was goin to buy a set of twin carbs of a bloke and he said that it was to fit an oval port head. now im not sure what this meant and i was wondering wat one is

if its a 1200 then its round port, if its a A14 or A15 then its oval.

hey grunterhuter dont forget about the 1200 gx head it has oval ports

What engine is it? [A10, 1200, A12, A14, A15,... other, imported, or from an Australian model?]
Is it the original head on this engine?

Cab you give us a standard description of the stud pattern where the manifold bolts to the head?

To simply ask what port shape you have is like asking how long is a piece of string, but with a bit more info we can help.

What this really means is you need to get an intake manifold to match the kind of head you have.

There were three oval sizes:

small oval
regular oval
GX oval (large)
