does anyone know the regulations for covering the rear fuel tank in a 1200 coupe ,with rear seats out do you have to cover up the fuel tank or leave as is?

its under the rear floor pan so you can leave as is....you do need to cover the holes exposed with silicon and grommets to save fuel spilling into the drivers compartment in a rollover etc....
