it will have to be shortned
your tail shaft will have to be modded to suit
your handbrake will need modding
as well as your brake lines and spring shackles
if i have missed any thing i am sure some one else will add to the list

I enquired about getting this done by hardcore racing in brisbane and they send theirs out to get done and said it cost $1700 . Got it back shortened and all the mounts changed so it bolted right up. Reckoned it chucked skids all day no worries. But if you do it yourself I wouldn't have a clue what you need to do. When I get around to changing my diff the r31 is probably going to be my 1st choice

I think thats a great price 1200U is selling for...I have priced a commodore VL setup for the coupe and Diff Trans Spares at Galdesville NSW wanted 2200 for it but that was including an LSD (which was also rebuilt)
and Disc brake rear...that was retro fitted to have the 114.3 stud pattern too.

My mate just got his done in his corolla KE20. The diff and brakes from the R31 were from a car at pick 'n' payless. $120 to remove yourself. Then he had it shortened and every thing changed from the stock item. It bolted straight up with no probs. The brake lines needed no mods and he had to play around with the handbrake. Took about 3hrs. Brand new LSD centre and 4.11 gears. Total cost: $1500
Money very well spent

Mat
