Can't find a radiator online - too old a car. Unfortunately the existing radiator is unrepairable, so the car is just sitting at my work, undrivable. I'm in a state of panic!

If anyone has a radiator that'll fit to my B-210, I'd gladly buy it from you (pay shipping, et cetera).

I'm in Seattle, WA, USA.

Regards,

Erin

Nobody eh? Any of you guys from here in the US familiar with a radiator I could easily fab some brackets for and slap in? I've heard a VW Rabbit works - but the hoses are reversed. Any ideas?

Try 1-800-radiator. I needed a rad for my 12lver and got a brand new b-210 one. I got a discount and bought it for $125. My rad came from back east and they later said there was one left in a oakland warehouse. Also, I believe the radiator out of a 79-81 210 will also fit. Parts America.com had the same part # I think. -

I would join the Yahoo 210 group and ask there. There appears to be a lot of Datsuns in your part of the country, and chances are someone might have one or know of one in a wrecking yard. Since it's a 210 group, someone might have first hand experience on swapping one in.

Recoring your exisiting radiator could be an option too....I just checked in Australia. A recore of the radiator (you only need the top, bottom and side bits...they put a new middle bit in for around $200.

I'm not sure what a brand new 1200 rad is in $AUS - but I think it would be difficult to get a new one for that price.

A 2nd hand one still needs to be pressure tested, checked for blocks that in Oz might cost $10.....to get it soaked overnight to unblock it, maybe an acid wash too around $50.

Convert all that into US....and maybe it relates.
