Ok, So i just had my ute serviced and got the list of "items that need to be bought to my attention"

The list goes

*Rear Uni Joint - Send tail shaft away
*Rear break hose has perished
*Timing case seal
*diff leaks
*Rear right hand break adjuster has seized

Now, i was wondering if anyone has any opinions with what i can do with any of these, for instance, is a rear break hose easy to fix myself, whats a timing case seal, and what could be wrong with it, because my diff is leaking, can it be fixed or will i need a new diff etc.

As you can see i dont know much about the mechanics, and dont really wanna be ripped off by a mechanic. Any advise would be much appreciated.
